Karting

Hi everyone!
I found a funny photo taken in the kartodromo near Plaza Oste, in 2010, I was 19 years old :(.  I went with my family and the boyfriends of my sisters to drive karting. I don’t really know how to drive but I’m a car enthusiastic so I give my best and I end up last, but it doesn’t matter I have lots of fun trying. I even get into an accident, my legs were to short for the pedals so I have to choose between the two pedals, the break or the accelerator. And well I chose the accelerator, so my other feet don’t even touch the break; I don’t really think that I was driving at an enormous speed but with all the sounds that the kart makes I got the impression that I was driving like 100 km/h. when I went into a close curve, can you imagine what happen, again, I don’t know how to drive but I know that when you get into a tight curve you have to slow down and then speed up, and  I just speed up and then I speed up again haha so I started to spin and I crash into the tires. I hurt my neck a little but it was so much fun.
I love cars, one of my favorites show is Top gear, with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, I love them, they are hilarious.

A day in the life.

Hello!
Today I’m going to talk you about the recent event on my life; I hope that you are interests :)
Yesterday evening I go to the supermarket, I had to do a half dozen of cupcakes because a coworker of my sister wanted to buy. So I went to Jumbo in Costanera center to buy butter, powdered cocoa and chocolate chips, the ingredients that i didn’t have in my house. I take the time to hanging out with a friend that works near and we went to a park in Andres Bello to talk a while. So we talk and talk went suddenly a man approach to us and star to talk weird things, like he was from the street, he just had leave prison and he do 18 years because he kills three people and other horrible stuff, I was so scare because a didn’t know what he really wants, my friend ask him what he want, and he show us a knife on his sleeve. Well I had to say I only see the wooden part and all that takes to give me a huge creep. I didn’t know what to do, I was shock. I’ve never been in that situation, so many thing past through my mind, it was dreadful. My friend took his cellphone from his pocket, take off the sim card and pass the phone to the man, and he said “that enough for you to leave us alone?” and the man chance immediately (he was happy) and asked how much it cost, my friend told him and he started to leave when he said “I didn’t make you give me the phone” so my friend said “yeah but I only have two thousand pesos” he said that because he was scare to take out his wallet and risk to be stolen, he has more stuff in his wallet that on his cellphone so he take that decisions But! The man said “so give me the two thousand, because I don’t know how long I will be able to sell this” and he had to handle the money, but the man didn’t take the wallet. One good thing at least. And then he left.
He threatened us whit a knife that’s the worst thing that ever happened to me. The were people everywhere, and I thought that we react properly, but are people that maybe will react differently, that what scared me the most. We took the decision to go with the police because that man was walking around and frighten people. We went and, you can imagine what happened “we can’t do anything, we have to catch him on the act” said the policeman.
I was so angry that even the police apologize for the law!
So what do I learn from this? I have to stay out those places (this happened in providencia, a place that, in my opinion was safe). And we have to take care of our self because the police can’t.
I hope that doesn’t happen to any of you, no one actually.
Have a nice week.

Ambitions :)

Hello classmates :)

Today i would like to tell you one of the ambitions that I have for my future job, I have many ideas for a job but I chose this one because i like the most. You may think.. but she studies design, she may want to work as a designer... not! :) I think that I can work in anythings applying knowledge learn in college for different things and also the carrer teach us how to be independent so thats what i want.
My ambition is to have a entertainment center for privates parties such as marriages, birthdays and whatever the clients need. I like this idea mostly for run the organizations, the decisions about the theme, music, colors etc just give the client the concept for the event.
I hope this work in the future, I need a lot of money but I think I can do it and also I have the help for my family in reference of what my sisters have study, for advice I mean. And why not some financially help too.. hope so. I would pay back I promise.
I always wanted to have an independent job even before i decided to study design, my first choice was odontology, that you can have a independent job too, but you can imagine how the dream died, not enough score or the score were to high, depend on how you look at it.
Well that was my sad and happy story.
Have a nice week!

The Psicoanalist

I would like to recommend a great book i read in 2011, is called The psychoanalyst by John Katzenbach

I read two other books of this author and I have loved each one of them. the themes that he use is the most interesting, it’s all about mystery, crimes, sick minds and cops. But this book in particular has a different type of villain, an invisible one.  John katzenbach has a writing style that gets you so involve in the story that you feel what the characters feels.

I found this book in a little library in Bariloche, Argentina, the cover of the book caught my attention the eyes were so afraid that i wanted to know why. I was searching a gift for my mother, who loves to read too. the book cost like 10 dollars, so cheap! And i bought two book of the author. The psychoanalyst and In the summer heat. Two great books. And now im readding The Professor. Im not finish yet! :)
